The Moth
- Overview: The Moth is the most famous story slam in the world. While most of its events happen in the U.S., The Moth, regularly, hosts shows in London.
- Type of Stories: High-quality, short, personal stories. The Moth gets plenty of story pitches and is picky about the stories that are shared. To pitch your story, you must record a 2-min extract from your story and submit it to www.themoth.org/share-your-story/pitchline.

Spark
- Overview: Spark is the UK's longest-running storytelling club. They are a very friendly place where people feel comfortable to share their stories.
- Type of Stories: Personal stories on a given topic (e.g., "change"). As the stories are, usually, not vetted by the organisers, each story is very unique in structure, style, and quality. To sign up, you can send an email to [email protected].
