Storytelling Training

Tell unforgettable stories at work.

Today’s business world is more competitive than ever, and standing out requires more than just expertise. It requires the ability to tell stories that make people care and take action.

But too often, leaders and sellers shy away from storytelling, thinking it’s either something you’re born with or not.

Let’s set the record straight: storytelling is a skill. And like any skill, it can be learned. With the right guidance and practice, anyone can master the art of storytelling.

Our training is designed to help your team build this skill and use it to drive real business results.

Storytelling Training FAQ

Not at all! Our corporate storytelling trainings cater to all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned storytellers. We believe everyone has a story to tell.

Our storytelling trainings are not just about storytelling techniques; they’re about fostering a supportive community of storytellers. We focus on pushing you and your team gently out of your comfort zone, tying everything back to what works in business, and having fun alongs the way.

Not at all! Our story telling training is open to any team seeking to enhance their storytelling abilities, whether for personal expression, professional development, or simply for the joy of storytelling.

Storytelling helps any team build trust, stand out, and inspire action.

Sure, thing. We’re happy to share any useful clips and materials of  previous workshops. Just drop us an email to [email protected] and we’ll make sure to send the material your way!

In the business storytelling workshops, you’ll pick up the tools to tell incredible stories at work. You’ll learn how find, structure, and deliver impactful stories. Plus, you’ll have a blast doing it!

Sure, thing. Here’s a sample story from one of the participants of our storytelling workshop, Julio Cesar Santos, Head of Data Operations at Making.com. He uses this story with his team, co-workers, and customers to show what really matters to him.

“In January 2009 I started my first job at DEI consulting in Merida, Mexico.

A little nervous, I enter the office. My boss is already there. He welcomes me and shows me my seat. On the wall I see this big print, saying: ‘Comunicación: Primero, lo primero’, which translates to ‘First thing, first: Communication’. It’s this typical, cheesy statement, that I don’t give much thought to.

A little later that day my boss comes to my office and asks: ‘Julio, can you make me coffee?’
I know, today this seems odd, but keep in mind: This is Mexico in 2009 + I’m an intern.
And I say ‘sure.’ What I don’t say is that I’ve never prepared coffee in my life. I’ve tried coffee one time before and hated it.

I go to the kitchen and try to replicate what I’ve seen my mum doing all these years. I open the coffee machine, pour the coffee powder all the way to the top, and hit the start button.
“Voila”, it works. 2min later, coffee is ready.

I bring my boss a cup of coffee.
He takes a sip, pauses, and looks up to me a bit confused.
‘Julio, come with me. Let’s go to your seat.’ At my seat, he points to the print at the wall that says ‘First thing, first: Communication’.
He then says: ‘Julio, have you ever prepared coffee before?’
Getting a little red, I admit: ‘No, it’s the first time.’
He then says: ‘Julio, your coffee was way too strong. You probably poured in 5 times more coffee powder than you should. I put this print into everyone’s office for a reason. Communication is very important in our team. If you don’t know something, ask. If you disagree on something, say it. If timelines change, let us know. Communicate openly and proactively.”

As you know, I’m not an intern anymore, but the lesson still applies to everything that I do.   In my job I commit to communicate as openly and proactively as possible. And I expect the same from my team.”

Nope! Just bring an open mind and a willingness to participate. We’ll guide you through the rest.

Yes! You’ll receive materials and resources to continue your storytelling journey after training. We’re also here to answer any questions or provide guidance even after the storytelling training concludes.

While we give storytelling workshops for varying audience, we recommend to keep the number of participants ideally around 8-12 people (max up to 20 people).

This allows everyone to get the attention and feedback they need.
